FCDO’s Climate Action for a Resilient Asia (CARA) is a regional programme supporting governments, institutions, communities, and the private sector across the Indo-Pacific to build climate resilience, restore ecosystems, and promote low-carbon growth through six thematic partnerships, including climate finance, nature-based solutions, urban resilience, and water security.
As the MEL Support Unit for FCDO’s CARA programme, we are delivering seven key outputs: refining CARA’s overarching monitoring framework; reviewing and aligning MEL systems of implementing partners; supporting annual independent monitoring and reporting, including ICF KPIs and GESI impacts; providing targeted MEL support to partners; generating high-quality evidence and learning products; disseminating knowledge through a dedicated CARA website and outreach strategy; and facilitating coordination across thematic components. Our work ensures rigorous, adaptive MEL systems that capture impact, support decision-making, and align partners around CARA’s climate resilience and low-carbon growth objectives across the Indo-Pacific region.
