The state cabinet minister for women and child development Mamta Bhupesh on Wednesday said that the Indira Gandhi Maternity Nutrition Scheme will now be implemented across the state. Bhupesh said that under Indira Gandhi Matritva Poshan Yojna or the maternity scheme, on the birth of the second child, an amount of Rs. 6000 is given to women for the well-being and good health of the mother-child.
“This amount is directly transferred to the account of women. He has managed various development programmes. His expertise lies in driving operational, financial and programmatic transformations. Before DFID, he was associated with Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), Help Age and World Wildlife Fund.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Management with specialisation in Human Resource Management and Finance. He is extensively trained in Project Cycle Management, Grant Management, Performance Management, Leadership Skills and Change Management.
