India, which is at the third spot after the US (4,238,500) and Brazil (2,419,091) in covid-19 cases, has been seeing a sharp upward trend of the disease in its cumulative cases average. This is despite India being far behind in testing than these countries. The country saw a record 50,000 infections in the past one day, which took the tally of covid-19 cases to 1,474,736.

Before DFID, he was associated with Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), Help Age and World Wildlife Fund.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Management with specialisation in Human Resource Management and Finance. He is extensively trained in Project Cycle Management, Grant Management, Performance Management, Leadership Skills and Change Management.
