My Father, My Inspiration!
He raised me telling tales of the women who have set an example by handling the personal life to office files with elegance and dignity.
My inspiration and my motivation is my father Mr. Hikmat Jung Bhandari. He is 54 years old and works at a restaurant. He has taught me to maintain a perfect balance between the societal and personal needs. He inculcated in me our cultural and traditional values but ensured to break the regressive taboos that hinder my growth. He made me realize that if women understand their capabilities then no one can stop them from conquering the world. He raised me telling tales of the women who have set an example by handling the personal life to office files with elegance and dignity.
I am a graduate in Economics and founder/chairperson of Foundation of Nepali Society at 23 and it is because he showed me the importance of education. He motivated me to follow my passion, speak my heart out, stand up for my beliefs and become a change maker. He is my guide, mentor, friend and philosopher. He is a potter who is still shaping my life for my and womankind’s betterment.
