Taking a lead – Story of budding leaders
My Neighbour, My Inspiration!
She manages her family of four children and a husband. Even though, she handles so much for a person her age there is always a pleasant smile on her face. Just like great leaders she graciously manages all the customers who visit her shop.
Everyone has some sort of inspiration. For some people its an actor, or motivational speaker, or sports person, but I am inspired by a local grocery store owner and neighbour – Ms. Meenakshi.
Being a house-wife for the last 20-25 years she entered in an entrepreneurial phase in the last ten years. Ms. Meenakshi, a 55 year old woman is a known face in our area. Every morning at 6:30 AM she is there at the shop. Due to her husband’s poor health, she started running the family shop along with handling other responsibilities.
She manages her family of four children and a husband. Even though, she handles so much for a person her age there is always a pleasant smile on her face. Just like great leaders she graciously manages all the customers who visit her shop. She has a very sharp mind and does not use a calculator for any calculations. She is an example of a hard-working and strong-willed woman who not only takes care of family but also know how to take a lead in difficult situations.
She is a pillar of strength for her children’s and a support system for her husband. She inspires everyone around to stand strong in difficult times and have taught us that a female has all the capabilities to become a leader in each and every space.
